Charitable tax receipt extension:
Due to the recent four-week Canada Post strike, the federal government plans to amend the Income Tax Act, extending the deadline for donations eligible for tax support in the 2024 tax year to February 28, 2025. This means any donations made before this date will be eligible for a 2024 tax receipt! It’s a fantastic chance to optimize your 2024 tax benefits while making a significant impact on our local community.
