Our Ends
On January 19, 2021, the board of directors and the leadership team developed and approved policies (called Ends) to affirm:
the purpose of Brella’s existence,
the benefits the organization should produce,
who should receive these benefits, and
the cost that is justified by results.
With defined Ends, the board can confidently monitor the achievements of the organization and the impact the work has on the people who receive services.
For the Executive Director, Board Ends policies provide clarity, authority and accountability to interpret those requirements for Brella and act accordingly.
Having knowledge of these Ends, the Executive Director and team members can move forward to develop and implement the strategic plan for Brella.
The following outlines Brella’s purpose and our four key Ends Policies. Subsections to each of these key Ends Polices are outlined in the Ends Policies attachment.
