We specialize in home adaptations (renovations) for seniors and those with mobility issues. From installing grab bars to replacing a bathtub with a shower or complete bathroom renovation, replacing an existing toilet with a new higher toilet, widening a doorway, or building a ramp. As Certified Aging-In-Place Specialists, we listen for each client's unique needs and apply solutions tailored to them. We work closely with Occupational Therapists and welcome working with Veterans Affairs and BC Housing for grants. Call us today for a complimentary assessment.

Senior Citizens’ Repair Services
Provides low cost, minor house repairs and maintenance to seniors 55+ and people with disabilities living in their own homes. Includes painting, plumbing, electrical, and general handy work. Experienced retired and semi-retired handymen provide these services.

Helping Hands Ministry
Provides minor repairs for those in our community with physical or financial constraints. Includes plumbing, electrical, painting, yard work, carpentry, and more. Primarily serves South Surrey.
Better at Home Programs
Better at Home is a program that helps seniors live in their own homes by providing simple nonmedical support services delivered by local non-profit organizations using a mix of paid workers and volunteers. Better at Home is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland. The services provided by the Better at Home Program include:
Friendly visiting
Transportation
Housekeeping
Minor home repairs
Grocery shopping
Light yard work
IMPORTANT NOTE: The services identified above vary between locations and some may not be offered in your community. Please contact your local Better at Home Program to find out if the service is offered near you.
COST: Some services identified are offered for free. While other services such as light housekeeping and transportation are based on a sliding scale. Subsidies are available and based on your current income tax.
